What Books Has David Walliams Written?

The comedian, actor, and author David Walliams, is well known for Little Britain, Come Fly with Me, his appearances on Britain’s Got Talent, and his range of children’s books. Indeed, with regards to his children’s books, some have compared to Walliams the popular author Roald Dahl.

TV Adaptations Of David Walliams’ Books

Some of David Walliams’ books have been adapted to become television films. As written above, Grandpa’s Great Escape was recently adapted to a television film which was released in 2018. The adaptation starred David Walliams in the role of Barry and the film was directed by Elliot Hegarty who is known for directing twenty episodes of the television series The Middle.

Some of the other TV movies created from David Walliams’ books include Gangsta Granny, which was released in 2013 and The Boy in the Dress which was released in 2014, both of which were directed by Matt Lipsey.
