Here at Smiffy's Liverpool we're always happy to help. If you have any enquiries please get in touch via the methods on our contact us page. Below we have a selection of frequently asked questions/answers which we hope will answer any questions quickly and easily.


HOW DO I SEARCH THROUGH THE SITE?

We aim to make finding the item you want as easy as possible. On our home page are a list of categories to browse through. Please click your desired category to continue. Alternatively if you know the name of product code number you can use the search box in the top right corner.



A PRODUCT I WANT IS OUT OF STOCK, WHEN IS IT COMING BACK IN?

On some out of stock products we are able to supply an estimated arrival date which is displayed on the product page. If there is no estimated arrival date please contact us for further information.

DO YOU OFFER BULK/CORPORATE/GROUP DISCOUNTS?

Yes, please contact us via phone or e-mail for further information.

DO YOU STOCK ALL ITEMS SHOWN ON THIS WEBSITE IN STORE?

We stock the vast majority of items available online in our store but not everything. However, we can order into store all items that are available online, which takes just 1 working day. If you are visiting us to purchase a specific item or items it is always best to contact us first to check availability.

DO YOU HAVE CHANGING FACILITIES IN-STORE?

Yes we do! We always encourage customers local enough to visit us in-store to come in and try on our products. Feel free to visit us and try on our great range of costumes, wigs, masks, hats and more!

I'M NOT SURE WHAT SIZE TO ORDER? WHAT DO YOU THINK?

We know its' not easy to pick the right size over the internet so please see our Size Charts for information and measurements for our sizes. Size Charts can be found on the product page. There is no standard size in fancy dress and each costume does fit different to another. Each brand will have a different sizing and therefore different products will have different Size Charts. The appropriate Size Chart will always be shown for each product. Many costumes include elastic seams and waistbands and stretch fabrics to cover multiple sizes. If you are unsure about sizing we recommend ordering a size up as it's easier to alter a larger costume rather than a tighter one.

CAN YOU OFFER MORE INFORMATION ON AN ITEM?

We endeavour to provide adequate item descriptions, sizes and pictures on each item page. However, if you have any further questions please don't hesitate to get in touch and we'll be happy to help.

I CAN'T FIND THE PRODUCT I WANT ON YOUR WEBSITE. CAN YOU SOURCE IT FOR ME?

We would like to think so! Please contact us via email or phone with your request and we will do our best to source your product.


THE PRICE OF A PRODUCT IS DIFFERENT ONLINE TO IN-STORE, WHY IS THIS THE CASE?

We operate a different pricing structure online to in-store. You may find that some prices do differ, but please factor in the postage charges you pay when ordering online.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO RECEIVE MY ORDER?

We aim to dispatch order within two working days of receiving your order although in most instances if ordered before 12pm we will dispatch the order that same day. Any next day delivery orders will be dispatched on the same day if ordered before 12pm. Please bear this in mind when selecting your delivery option. HOW MUCH ARE YOUR POSTAGE COSTS?

WHAT PAYMENT METHODS CAN I USE?

We use World Pay Merchant Service to accept payment securely for Visa, Visa Debit, Maestro, Delta, Visa Electron and Mastercard. We can also accept payment through Paypal. If you wish to pay over the phone we will quite happily accept debit and credit card payments. Please see the Payment Options page for more information.

A PRICE OF AN ITEM THAT I HAVE RECENTLY BOUGHT HAS CHANGED, CAN I HAVE A REFUND?

We reserve the right to make any changes to prices and are not obliged to offer any refunds if this is the case.

CAN I CANCEL MY ORDER?

We are happy to cancel any orders if the order has not been dispatched for a full refund. Please contact us ASAP if you wish to do so to ensure the order isn't dispatched. We reserve the right to charge a £3 admin fee for any cancellations. If the order has been dispatched then in accordance with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, it is still possible to cancel your order as described in our returns procedure. If the procedure is not respected, the order will be considered valid and the Customer will remain liable for the full payment.
